Out and About | Beach, Museum, and Legoland!

2019.07.06 - 08 San Diego, California, Untied States
In July, our family went down to San Diego to visit a dear friend of mine, who’s having her first baby boy. We made this visit to become a 3-day-2-night trip for the kids. Our original itinerary didn’t include any of the theme parks. We wanted to be a little laid back like going to the beach and maybe visit some museums. But then some other friends of ours decided to take their kids to Legoland the same weekend. We were like why not

Day 1, We found this new beautiful park, named waterfront park, right by the pier. This big playground was surrounded by the tall buildings, which makes a cool city view. There's also a large water fountain shallow pool in the front for kids play for hours and hours. That was pretty much the rest of our day.

Day 2, Although the kids begged us to go to the waterfront park again, we insisted on going to the beach. Come on, how could we not dip our feet in the sea of San Diego! I knew they would be glad we pick the beach rather than the playground.
This is my favorite photo of el from this trip. She's stunning!

We also visited Fleet Science Center later the day. It is much smaller than California Science Center but has a lot of hands on experiment that the kids had quite some fun!

Day 3, We didn’t take many photos at Legoland because we were always interrupted by some kind of fuzziness, mediation, or minor accident among the 9 kids. Despite all that, the kids had a spectacular time together, especially hanging out with the friends that they don’t get to see often.
Last time we were here, el was too little to take this ride. Time flies.
This is the "accident" that I mentioned earlier. A good size of bump on the forehead :(

Carrying a baby with this score, I said top notch!
