Out and About | Field Trips with Tiny Tots

What I love about en’s preschool is that I, as a mother, get to participate as much as we want. This program depends on a lot of helps from parents or grandparents, and I’m really grateful that I can be one of them. Both en and I enjoyed the spring session very much so I enrolled him in the summer session as well. Dinosaurs, pet day, and lots of outings! It was so much fun!

In July, we went on a field trip to California Science Center. The first stop was to see Space Shuttle Endeavor. The concept of space seems a little complicated for en but it presents the idea of sun, moon and our Earth. This visit helped to explain the following eclipse event in the late August.

The last time we visited CSC en was only an one-year-old. We only gave a glance at things. Now he got to experience a lot of hands-on science experiments:
This interesting dude is a Mexican salamander

In August, the class went to local pizzeria, Shakey’s Pizza Parlor. We were given a tour of the pizzeria, including some behind the scenes like kitchen and walk-in freezer! The best part was that children got to make their own pizza.

In addition, TinyTots took us to the arboretum last spring session, which was the perfect time to see peacocks showing its impressively beautiful feathers:

We’ve been to the arboretum before but the route that the teacher took us was totally new to us!

Here we come Fall 2017!
