Mirror Mirror On the Wall

The first project that is done by using the custom workbench:

We wanted to hang a full length mirror above the mantel and Ikea MONGSTAD was on the list of my living room inspiration last year. We never really put too much thought into it and a few months ago, we got these salvaged mirrors for free:

What we can do with two pieces of mirror sliding doors? Charles found the length is just right to fit between the windows in our living room so he soon decided to frame the mirror:

  1. Cut four pieces of wood to the right sizes
  2. Sand
  3. Use router to modify to edges

4. Stain

5. Pocket screws to join the corners together (Tools: Kreg R3 Jr. Pocket Hole Jig System)

6. Mount pieces of wood to keep the mirror from moving

And done!

Pretty cool isn't it?
