Thank goodness we picked the warmest day in the coldest week in 2014 to the beach -- Santa Monica Beach.
Little en showed a lot of interest in exploring the sand… I was surprised that he didn't put some into his mouth XD.
Huntington Library is another perfect place for a sunny afternoon. Kids can play on the lawn for hours.
We enjoyed the time that the two families spent together, so much laughter. Who believes that we played Settlers of Catan with a six-year-old?
Watch out! Oregon has been bumped up from our place-to-go list XD.
