Out and About | Retreat at University of San Diego

This summer was the third time that we attended the church retreat in University of San Diego, a private Roman Catholic University in San Diego. The campus is full of antique 16th-century Spanish Renaissance architectural buildings. Here is no doubt one of the most beautiful college campuses in the state.

I purposely looked back at the pictures over the years and found that a lot of babies have become some high-energy toddlers this year. Some of them even participated in classroom activities during the retreat. It's just amazing to see how time makes us grow physically and spiritually.

Charles and I were newlyweds by 2012. Last year we decided to take four months old little en to the retreat as well. It was the first time for him to stay overnight outside of his crib. We even prepped him to sleep in the pack-n-play a few nights at home. This year, of course, he became one of those high-energy toddlers and started to run all over the places. I'm sure it won’t be too long before he joins his playmates in the classroom, making new friends and playing together :)
