Last weekend we got to visit Santa Ana Zoo where we had never been before. It is relatively an itty-bitty zoo compares to Los Angeles Zoo, probably ⅙ size of LA Zoo I would say. Anyhow, it is the perfect size for toddlers like my little Es’. There’s no big predators like lions or tigers but they have an abundant collection of primates (19 species!)
Our friend held a baby shower in one of several picnic areas. We spent quite some time there just hanging out with friends while the kids played with twigs and dirt.
There are a few attractions like carousel, zoofari train rides, and a shaded playground! It’s shaded! If it wasn't for the fact that it takes one hour drive from our home, I would totally purchase the annual pass!
