It happened when we misplaced little el’s Thermos funtainer water bottle and wanted to upgrade it to a bigger size. We’ve been using Thermos funtainers for years and both my kids are pretty engaging with this brand. I started to search for a 12Oz bottle and laid my eyes on this R2-D2 print. I clicked purchase right away! After a few minutes, I found that Target carries the same size bottle with BB-8 print!
It just so happens that en has a bathrobe and a lightsaber I can easily dress him up as Luke Skywalker.
I quickly digged out a white t-shirt and en’s old khaki shorts for little el to play Rey. I used our shabby window sheers to decorate her costume. The most creative part was that I used my thigh high stockings as her detached sleeves.
Browsing through the photos I found myself quite enjoying this fake holiday. Happy Star Wars Day!
