Disney Cruise | Sea Day

The last day on the cruise was a casual sea day. It seemed to be more of a relaxing day yet it was still full of things-to-do. I got to do a quick window shopping at Diamonds and Wishes, Mickey’s Mainsail, and Sea Treasure. I was proud that I resisted the urge to purchase impulsively and returned the cabin empty-handed :D

The kids participated in Midship Detective Agency. The game started at the station somewhere on Deck 2 (also on Deck 4). We followed the clues and guides to the next interactive screen throughout the ships to solve cases. I believed only en knew what was going on and actually solved the case.

In the middle of the game, we encountered Jack Jack’s Incredible Diaper Dash in the atrium. It was a family event where the babies crawl to the finish line in a race. It was surprisingly really fun to watch! We even met one of the finalists in the elevator.

Later the day the kids popped in their last Oceaneer Club hours while we adults attended the Art of the Theme Tour. The tour took us through the public areas of the ship and detailed the art and design choices that were made. We discovered a few places that we had not been to like D Lounge, a family hangout zone; The Tube, a nightclub and lounge that is themed after the London underground subway.

We also spent time on the upper deck, soaking in the sunlight and playing some mini-golf. Both en & el got the record of hole-in-one! :D

Instead of the original Disney story musical shows like Aladdin & Frozen, the live show for tonight was called Disney’s Believe. It combined a lot of iconic movie scenes through Disney magic and led to the family value. I was really happy to see Genie from Aladdin reappear in this one. My personal favorite was the Aladdin musical on the first night. The Genie actor should be awarded the best actor in comedy!

Finally, we ended our wonderful Disney Cruise experience at Enchanted Garden. It was our last dinner sitting and also the next morning breakfast. I wondered if it was because it was our final restaurant, I felt Enchanted Garden offered the most flavorful gourmet food among the three.

All in all, Disney has earned its reputation for high quality of services. I had to admit that Disney always did its magic right to wake that inner child in me.
